Morjim beach is a quiet and secluded beach unspoilt by tourism. If you had to choose two words to describe Morjim - Peace and Tranquility are the first that spring to mind. You can walk for several kilometres in either direction along the beach and you won’t be disturbed by another soul, just the sound of sea birds and the crashing waves. The warm waters of the Arabian Sea are a swimmers paradise.
Morjim is also home to the Olive Ridley sea turtle. Until recently these elusive little creatures were found nesting throughout the coast of Goa, but unfortunately now only nest in a few beaches along the coast, Morjim being one.
